Yep, Mark Mcmorris of Regina just won the biggest snowboard contest in Canada. Whoa…
Finals for the contest formerly known as the “Empire Shakedown” took place on Saturday evening at Mount Saint-Sauveur, QC. Mark threw down his classic Backside 1080 Double Cork to secure the win. Mark also got to share the podium with a couple of his bros… it was fellow O’Neill team riders Seb Toots and Eric Willet who took home 2nd and 3rd place.
Mark earns 12,000$ for the win. When asked what he will do with the money, he simply stated that he will put it in the bank so “when I’m old and retired from snowboarding I can live”.
The streetjesus team congratulates you on your huge win Mark!
